Information & History on back of piece: Built in 1867. This lighthouse marked the entrance to the Little Annemessex River and the famous seaport of Crisfield, Maryland. The wooden structure was dismantled in 1932. Today the framework still remains, and is known to watermen as the skeleton lighthouse or the five legger.
