NTK04 Old North Wharf, Nantucket, MA. Built in 1774, the Old North Wharf is one of Nantucket's oldest sites. It is only one of five wharves that is residential. In the background the familiar gold-domed steeple of the Unitarian Church or South Tower can be seen. Built in 1809, this is Nantucket's oldest church. Since 1820, Nantucket's five wharves have been devoted to whaling and to various commercial operations such as lumber, coal, and ice storage.

NTK05 Sankaty Light, Nantucket, MA. Built in 1849 and lit in 1850, this lighthouse stands on a bluff 90 feet above sea level. The 70-ft tall tower was one of the first to receive a Fresnel lens and is now considered endangered due to erosion.
